Hey, I’m Shelby! My love for event planning began blooming after taking floral design classes in college. I helped with floral installations for campus events and completely fell in love with turning a boring space into something spectacular. After college, I worked as a venue manager and in-house coordinator, and that’s when I absolutely fell in love with weddings.
Turns out the venue manager side wasn’t for me, but I couldn’t get planning out of my head. In 2019, I started my business, and shortly after I got engaged! I was busy planning my own wedding and weddings for my couples, and I soon realized I could pursue this passion full-time.
Fast forward to today, and Plan On It Events has worked with over 60 incredible couples to design and execute the weddings of their dreams. I couldn’t be prouder of our growth!

I began assisting weddings right at the start of the post-covid wedding boom. After college, I got a job as an Events Operations Manager planning and executing lots of different kinds of events from 5k/10k races and award galas for nonprofits to multi-day conferences for Amazon.
After a few years in the diverse world of events, I made the full time switch to weddings and my love for these kinds of events has only grown.
I have an excessive love for all things organization and nitty gritty details. That obsession combined with a creative passion for beautiful and personalized events is why I thrive as an event planner.

Hi, I’m Amy. Shelby actually planned my own wedding, and after seeing the absolute magic she could make, I wanted in! I began assisting Shelby with weddings and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I was one of the few brides who truly enjoyed the planning process - searching for vendors, choosing the details, and organizing everything to create a beautiful day. But I know that most couples don’t love the process as much as I did.
With my background in customer service and training, I’m able to coach our couples through the planning process with ease and take away the stress of not knowing which direction to go.

Hello! I’m Veronica. I’m the newest member of the Plan On It team! I absolutely love helping couples plan their big day and bring their vision to life.
I’m also a first-generation graduate, and family is so important to me. I met my partner when I was just 12 years old!
Being an event coordinator allows me to use my organizational skills, which is where I thrive! Shelby even says she thinks I can read her mind on wedding days because I’m always on it. I’m looking forward to helping our future couples shine on their big day!

We love traveling to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest area! The scenery is drop dead gorgeous and there are so many things to do - museums, shopping, outdoor activities, etc.

The first look! I love watching all of the butterflies melt away as the couple sees one another in their wedding day garb for the first time. The biggest smiles and the most emotion are usually shown here and I can't help but peek!

The love between the couple on the wedding day. After the ceremony, the nervous excitement turns into mushy gushy, head over heels love that makes my heart melt every time.
