Hey, I’m Shelby! My love for event planning began blooming after taking floral design classes in college. I helped with floral installations for campus events and completely fell in love with turning a boring space into something spectacular. After college, I worked as a venue manager and in-house coordinator, and that’s when I absolutely fell in love with weddings.
Turns out the venue manager side wasn’t for me, but I couldn’t get planning out of my head. In 2019, I started my business, and shortly after I got engaged! I was busy planning my own wedding and weddings for my couples, and I soon realized I could pursue this passion full-time.
Fast forward to today, and Plan On It Events has worked with over 60 incredible couples to design and execute the weddings of their dreams. I couldn’t be prouder of our growth!

Hello! I’m Veronica. I absolutely love helping couples plan their big day and bring their vision to life.
I’m also a first-generation graduate, and family is so important to me. I met my partner when I was just 12 years old!
Being an event coordinator allows me to use my organizational skills, which is where I thrive! Shelby even says she thinks I can read her mind on wedding days because I’m always on it. I’m looking forward to helping our future couples shine on their big day!

As a native Austinite, I’ve always hoped to root my life in this weird city. Balancing work with family adventures and our church community, I'm here to infuse our team with a lively spirit and a touch of Texan charm.

When I’m not running the show on a wedding day, you can probably find me at the gym, hiking the beautiful trails around Austin, scouting out the newest restaurant in town, or soaking up quality time with my favorite people. I’m always down for a little adventure (or a really good meal).
My wedding journey started in 2023 while I was in college, assisting behind the scenes and getting a front-row seat to the magic. I quickly fell in love with the energy, the emotion, and yes — even the organized chaos! Not long after, I stepped into coordinating and discovered a passion for it, and decided I wanted to make it into a career. The longer I have been in the industry I have realized the importance of an intimate, unique, and intentional day for couples. I blend heart and organization, calm and creativity, so couples can relax and actually enjoy their day — knowing every detail is handled and every moment is meaningful.

are we besties already?
We love traveling to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest area! The scenery is drop dead gorgeous and there are so many things to do - museums, shopping, outdoor activities, etc.

Where was your favorite vacation?
The first look! I love watching all of the butterflies melt away as the couple sees one another in their wedding day garb for the first time. The biggest smiles and the most emotion are usually shown here and I can't help but peek!

My favorite part about weddings is queuing the processional. Watching everyone take that deep breath as they start to walk down the aisle is one of the sweetest moments to be able to witness.

New Girl - I come back to it over and over again. I’m also currently listening to the New Girl rewatch podcast, I can’t get enough!
